A task you expected to see is not on your list. Here is the five-point checklist in order of likelihood.
1. Wrong facility selected
The most common cause. Check the facility switcher at the top of the page. If you have access to multiple facilities and the wrong one is active, you will not see tasks from your facility.
Fix: click the facility switcher and pick the right site.
2. Wrong filter applied
A saved view or a filter chip from earlier in the day might be hiding the task.
Fix: click Clear filters above the task list. If the task appears, narrow filters one at a time to find which one was hiding it.
3. Cadence is paused or out of effective dates
If the cadence has been paused by an admin, or its start date is in the future / end date in the past, no new tasks are generated.
Fix: ask an admin to check Admin → Cadences for the task name. Look at the Paused column and the effective dates.
4. Task was completed by someone else
If a teammate completed it earlier in the window, the task moves from your list to History.
Fix: open History, filter by today and the task name. You will see who completed it and when.
5. Task was skipped or deferred
A skipped task stays in History but leaves the active list. A deferred task moves to a future window.
Fix: filter the task list by Status: Skipped, Deferred to find it. The original due time and who skipped/deferred it are shown.
Edge cases
- Time-zone mismatch. If your phone is in a different time zone from the facility, "today" might mean two different windows. The facility time zone always wins for task generation.
- Brand-new cadence. Cadences only generate tasks from the moment they are saved. If a cadence was created this morning at 9 AM, the 7 AM task for today will not exist.
- Internet hiccup at sign-in. A rare race condition means a task can fail to render on the first load. Pull to refresh on mobile or hit Ctrl/Cmd+R on desktop.
