Your profile is personal — it does not affect anyone else. Change it any time without admin help.
Opening your profile
Click your avatar (top right) → Account → Profile.
Identity
- Display name — appears on task completions, work orders, and Notepad posts.
- Avatar — upload a square image (PNG or JPG, up to 2 MB). Defaults to your initials.
- Job title — optional, shows in tooltips and on the people directory.
- Phone — used for SMS notifications and the on-call rotation if your facility uses one.
Preferences
- Default facility — the facility you land on at sign-in if you have access to more than one.
- Theme — Light, Dark, or System.
- Date format — 12h / 24h time; MDY / DMY / YMD date.
- Language — en-US, en-GB, es, fr.
Notifications
For each event type, choose where you want notifications:
- In-app only — the bell icon in the top bar lights up.
- Email — sent to the address on your account.
- Push — to phones running the MaintIQ home-screen app.
- SMS — only for P1 escalations on Growth+ plans.
Event types:
- New work order assigned to me
- Task overdue (mine)
- Work order escalated to me
- @mention in Notepad
- SOP I authored was edited
- Daily digest (7 AM facility time)
Sessions
The Sessions tab lists every device currently signed in to your account. Revoke any device by clicking Sign out. Revoking remotely is instant.
Connected accounts
If your organisation uses Google or Microsoft SSO, link it here so you can sign in with one click. Linking is reversible.
Data export
Click Export my data to download every action, note, and attribution attached to your account in JSON form. Useful for personal record-keeping and for GDPR data-portability requests.
Account deletion
Deleting your own account requires admin approval (so an admin can reassign anything you owned). Request deletion in Account → Delete account; an admin gets the request in their inbox.
